This full-time, contract role will have you providing essential support and evidence-based interventionsprimarily within a middle school environmentserving a daily caseload of 5-13 students, with group size varying as needed.
As an itinerant clinician, you'll collaborate with teachers and supervise Education Technicians/Behavioral Health Professionals, ensuring a cohesive therapeutic and educational approach for students requiring day treatment services. Your expertise will be critical in guiding interventions that foster social, emotional, and academic growth.
Desired Qualifications- Current clinical licensure in Maine as LCSW, LMSW-CC, LCPC, or LCPC-C with no active violations or restrictions
- Completed CHRC (Maine DOE Background Check)
- Experience supporting school-aged children in educational or treatment settings preferred
- Strong background in implementing evidence-based treatment modalities
- Ability to effectively supervise and collaborate with support staff
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Deliver evidence-based day treatment services to middle school students (ages typically 11-14)
- Supervise and provide guidance to Ed Techs/BHPs within the classroom setting
- Collaborate closely with teachers to develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with program and regulatory standards
- Support students social and emotional development, ensuring integration with the wider school community
- Adapt to varying caseload sizes and itinerant requirements, primarily stationed at the middle school
