Preschool Instructor
Basic Responsibilities:
The preschool instructor will assist the Lead Teacher with group management, using assessment tools, and following forest school philosophy during class each session. Attend trainings and receive certifications needed for preschool. Previous work experience:
Experience in outdoor programming, environmental education, teaching, childcare, summer camp or related experience desired.
Education:
College coursework and/or degree preferred. Special skills & training:
Excellent oral and written communications skills, as well as good organizational skills required. Ability to work independently and successfully lead Environmental Education programs for groups of all ages is required, in addition to knowledge of the natural world. Valid MI driver's license with good driving record is required. Start date & work schedule:
Starting ASAP, seasonal to year-round. 10-20 hours per week. Weekdays M-F 9am-4pm.
