Department Facilitators

Grade Level Facilitators

Supports the District/Building in the promotion and maintenance of District Curriculum, instruction and assessment policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Current licensed teacher in the State of Minnesota.
• Continuing contract teacher in Farmington Public Schools.
• Committed to professional development and growth.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills including displaying respect, empathy and integrity with encouraging and supporting individual and team efforts.

Essential Functions:

• Supports the District/Building in the promotion and maintenance of District Curriculum, instruction and assessment policies and procedures.
• Provides two-way communication among District, building and department (i.e., Vertical Teaming, curriculum mapping, standards implementation and resource/textbook adoption through monthly meetings with grade level or content departments.
• Maintain accurate records of meetings, supplies and in charge of ordering new supplies for the department.
• Facilitates and monitors implementation of District curriculum.
• Participates in building leadership meetings.

Nominal Stipend: $1040

The position will pay a fixed stipend as delineated in Schedule Q of the teacher contract. The stipend amount is considered a "nominal stipend". The amount of the stipend will not change based on the number of daily hours that are devoted to duties.
