Part Time On Call Student Custodial Assistant
$19.68 per hour

Description:
Assist ISD 192 fulltime custodial at any/all school sites to perform daily cleaning duties.
Position to start as soon as possible.
Weekday after school hours; typically 3-4 hour shifts.
Flexible days based on student need.
Building assignment and available hours will vary depending on needs.

Job Summary: To assist in providing high quality service and provide daily cleaning assistance to regular full-time custodial staff. Primarily assist with trash/recycling pick up, vacuuming, dust mopping, etc. No chemical cleaning until 18yo.

• Must be 16years or older
• Must have excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with employees and community members.
• Proven ability to establish and maintain cooperative and effective working relationships with others including students at age level of position and present a professional appearance.
• Ability to work independently once given direction by lead custodian
• Must have the ability and proven record of reporting to work on a regular and punctual basis.
• Must be able to effectively communicate via email and track assigned work shifts

Physical Requirements:
Tasks involve prolonged periods of walking, standing, stooping, lifting etc. Although minimized by safety practices, accidents, chemical and physical hazards connected with this work are always present.

This position requires good physical conditioning, strength, agility, endurance with no serious defect of vision or hearing. Must be able to climb ladders and lift 50# on own or 75# with assistance on a regular basis.
