Job Summary

The Polisher position is an individual contributor in the Polishing Department. The successful candidate will prepare finished shafts for protection in shipment, following work instruction.

2nd shift position, Monday through Thursday from 2:45pm to 12:45am. Salary range: $24.60 to $27.57 per hour.

• Inspect materials to ensure products meet quality standards and quantities are correct for each order.
• Inspect aluminum shafts and evaluate condition.
• Remove dents, grind, and router as needed.
• Prepare finished shafts for protection in shipment as directed by work instruction.
• Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE) and work both in a non‑temperature controlled environment and outdoors.
• Perform other duties as required and/or assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• One year of experience in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations.
• Ability to read and work with prints, drawings, and work documents.
• Ability to take measurements using close‑tolerance instruments.
• Acceptable attendance and prior employment record.
• Team‑work skills with a diverse group of people.
• Attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
• Wearing required PPE and compliance with safety regulations.
• Maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

• 1–3 years of experience in a manufacturing position.
• Familiarity with radial saws, hand tools, overhead cranes, and general shop safety.
• Strong communication and positive interaction with coworkers.
• Drive to excel and deliver exceptional results with high safety awareness.
