** As a Counselor, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals with mental health and substance use disorders to enhance their daily living and work capabilities. We seek dedicated individuals who are passionate about recovery and equipped to provide support in a collaborative  this role, you will complete comprehensive intake assessments, develop tailored treatment plans, and participate in clinical staffing, all while adhering to industry standards and best practices.

* Key Responsibilities:

*
* · Complete the intake, screening, and assessment process within state regulatory time frames.  
· Develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment information per regulatory guidelines.  
· Facilitate group counseling and education sessions, focusing on recovery from substance use.  
· Document all services provided in compliance with state agency standards.  
· Handle crises effectively to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.  
· Engage in ongoing training and adhere to continuing education requirements.
** Education, Experience, and/or Credential

Qualifications:

*
* · Master’s or bachelor’s degree in a human services field (non-licensed), and/or certification as a Qualified Addiction Professional (QAP) as defined by the Missouri Credentialing Board.  
· Credentials including Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) or Licensed Addictions Counselor (LAC), among others, are preferred.

* Additional Qualifications:

* · Current driver’s license and auto insurance with an acceptable driving record.  
· Must successfully complete all background checks.  
· CPR and First Aid certification required within three months of hire.
