Your Role as the Dietary Services Aide Skilled NursingAmycare Senior Living is seeking a dependable and team-oriented Dietary Services Aide to support meal preparation, service, and sanitation in our skilled nursing community. This role helps ensure residents, families, visitors, and staff receive accurate, timely meal service while maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming dining environment.
SummaryThe Dietary Services Aide assists with food preparation, meal service, and kitchen sanitation while following dietary guidelines, health regulations, and Americare’s standards of care. This role supports resident satisfaction and safety through teamwork, attention to detail, and a service-focused mindset.
This Role May Also Be Known As:
Dietary Aide, Food Service Aide, Nutrition Services Aide, or Kitchen Aide.
- Assist with food preparation for residents, visitors, and staff, including special events and activities.
- Attend and serve food during in‑service or staff meetings as requested.
- Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment, maintaining sanitary conditions.
- Set and clear tables before and after meals.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and dining area.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, and infection control practices.
- Adhere to Americare’s Mission, Vision, Hometown Hospitality™, and F.A.M.I.L.Y. values.
- Support the dietary team with additional duties as assigned.
