New Graduate Nurse

The Graduate Nurse provides direct patient care activities, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation, within nursing care standards. They will need to obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation to maintain employment.

• Educate patients and families on managing illness, post-treatment care, and medication use.
• Utilize critical thinking to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans collaboratively, promoting patient-centered care.
• Evaluate patient responses and adjust care plans accordingly.
• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engage in professional development.
• Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safety at all times.

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing.
• Must obtain licensure within 90 days of graduation.
