Assistant Manager – Rhodes Convenience Stores 1250 Maple Street, Farmington, MO

Knowledge of and use of Mission Statement and Core Values.
Ensure each guest receives outstanding service including greeting, acknowledgment, maintaining standards, product knowledge, and other components of guest service.
Assist the general manager in meeting budgeted sales and maintaining gross profit.
Assist in controlling shrink, expenses, and payroll.
Ensure appropriate merchandise stock levels, adjacencies, presentations, signing, assortment, and adequate stocking.
Review store trends and recommend changes to maximize goals.
Ensure compliance with all policies and complete paperwork for cashier reports, payroll, and miscellaneous items.
Evaluate and communicate performance issues to the general manager and recruit employees.
Train and develop customer service employees; direct and monitor training.
Keep the store clean, neat, and meeting Rhodes 101 expectations.
Include additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED. Preferred 1 year retail and/or restaurant experience. Completion of training program and food safety certification required.
Employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, crawl, climb, and lift/move items over 50 pounds. Required vision abilities include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
TravelVery minimal travel; occasional trips to support other stores and attend required meetings.
