KBW has partnered with a growing manufacturing company seeking a Senior Accountant to lead the month-end close and support accounting operations for manufacturing locations. This is a hands-on role with significant exposure to inventory, product costing, fixed assets, cash management, and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Lead monthly and year-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and GL analysis
- Manage fixed assets, Cap Ex tracking, and inventory valuation
- Partner with Operations on physical inventory, BOMs, labor, scrap, and product costing
- Analyze material, labor, pricing, and departmental variances to improve margins
- Oversee AP/AR, cash activity, collections, payments, and bank transactions
- Support audits, tax requirements, budgeting, and forecasting
- Develop accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
- Identify ERP process gaps and improve financial data and reporting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5+ years of hands-on GL accounting experience
- Experience with an integrated ERP system such as Net Suite, Oracle, SAP, or similar
- Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and cost-modeling capabilities
Compensation:$80,000
-90,000 plus benefits
