Student Services Aide (52643)
Salary Range $13.50 Hourly Position Type Part Time - Reg Education Level High School or GED Travel Percentage None Category Student
Job DescriptionThe incumbent in this position will assist with all aspects of the administrative processes of the Farmington Center. Individuals will answer telephone & take messages; accurately & effectively respond to inquiries both in person and on the telephone; provide clerical support to office staff; greet visitors; provide basic information to visitors.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- Must be currently enrolled as a student at NMHU with good academic standing.
- Must be classified as a sophomore, junior, senior or higher.
- Must be enrolled with a minimum of six (6) credit hours.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Successfully completed one semester at NMHU.
- Some administrative/clerical experience.
Preferred
Skills:
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a professional office environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow university policies and procedures.
