This is a contract-based on-site position for an ER Physician located in Farmington, NM. The ER Physician will provide medical care in an emergency department setting, including assessing and treating patients with acute illnesses and injuries. Responsibilities include conducting diagnostic tests, managing urgent and critical cases, working closely with interdisciplinary teams, and maintaining accurate medical records. The role requires making quick decisions to provide effective treatment in high-pressure situations.
Qualifications- Proficiency in Emergency Medicine, Emergency Services, and Urgent Care
- Strong skills in Medicine and Critical Care Medicine
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments and make quick, informed decisions
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and leadership abilities
- Current and unrestricted medical license to practice in the state of New Mexico
- Board certification or eligibility in Emergency Medicine or a related specialty
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications
- Experience working in emergency or urgent care settings is highly preferred
