Summary

Urenco USA (UUSA) invites candidates to join our state‑of‑the‑art facility in Eunice, NM. We provide relocation support for qualified applicants.

Supervise and coordinate the activities of operators who monitor, control and operate uranium enrichment equipment and related production equipment. Ensure safe operations, maintain compliance with environmental and safety regulations, provide training and coaching, and manage daily and long‑term tasks to achieve excellent results.

• Ensure UUSA operates within established environmental, state and federal regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain safe operation of enrichment and support equipment.
• Prioritize formal training and development of subordinates, providing coaching and feedback.
• Create clear reports on complex issues, using findings to devise process improvements.
• Manage tasks methodically, verifying all work and correcting errors.
• Apply mastery of job‑related knowledge to nuclear industry standards.
• Operate complex mechanical devices requiring manual dexterity.

• Bachelor’s degree in science or technical field, or equivalent of 5+ years relevant industrial experience; or
• Qualified U.S. Nuclear Navy Operator or Non‑Licensed Nuclear Power Plant Operator, U.S. Nuclear Navy Qualified Watch Supervisor, NRC Licensed Reactor Operator or Senior Reactor Operator.

• 5+ years of related work experience, including at least three years at a senior or supervisory level in a technical, chemical, or operations environment.

• Work schedule:
  
  Professional schedule with minimal night/weekend support; occasional nights, weekends and call‑outs may be required.
• Travel: 20% or less.
• Security clearance:
  Controlled Access Area (CAA) Access and L or Q level clearance required.
• Radiological exposure: < 100 mrem/yr. Work environment: general office and plant production areas, using standard office equipment.

• Starting salary: $121,320 - $146,169 per year, dependent on candidate qualifications.
