Reports To: Project Executive
Location: Santa Teresa, New Mexico
Salary Range: $65,000 to $85,000
OverviewCupertino Electric, Inc. (CEI) builds mission‑critical data centers throughout the U.S. to ensure crucial information accessed by millions of people is always available and secure. This role supports the execution of project plans and coordinates the day‑to‑day activities necessary to keep projects on schedule and within scope.
Responsibilities- Provide daily support to field, project management, and customer teams.
- Coordinate material onsite delivery dates.
- Maintain RFI, submittals, and change order logs.
- Serve as the key point of contact for internal customers.
- Assist in the execution of project plans and maintain stable working relationships internally.
- Learns to use professional concepts and applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.
- Works on problems of limited scope and follows standard practices to analyze data.
- Receives detailed instructions on most work and maintains compliance with safety protocols.
- Willing and excited to learn with a continuous focus on cultivating a growth mindset.
- Organized, communicates through various channels, and collaborates effectively with team members.
- Comfortable taking initiative, owning responsibilities, and working in a site environment with approved PPE.
- A career development path toward project management, working directly with a project manager or executive.
- Opportunity to learn from journeymen, foremen, and project teams.
- Mentoring from peers and attendance at vendor off‑sites, training classes, and other learning opportunities.
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Licensure/
Certifications:
None required. - Experience: Zero (0) years of construction or related experience required; two (2) years preferred.
- Driving Record: Valid state‑issued driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
