Manufacturing Engineers develop and improve manufacturing processes by studying products and manufacturing methods. They analyze product specifications to determine appropriate designs and processes that support these customer requirements. You would apply your skills to develop, test, modify, and create solutions through a collaborative effort with various teams. As a Manufacturing Engineer with our Raytheon team, you'll apply your skills to help to develop, test, modify and create solutions through a collaborative effort with our stakeholders.
WhatYou Will Do
- Design, control, and improve the manufacturing process through collaboration with a multi-disciplined team
- Improve cycle time and lead time
- Implement manufacturing process control and performance monitoring
- Create and oversee improvement projects
- Translate engineering design requirements into manufacturing processes
- Perform hardware defect analysis
- Participate in corrective action investigations
- 0+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Aerospace Engineering
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contracts
- Experience/education with interpretation of technical documentation
- Experience/education with project execution
Experience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.
Qualifications We Prefer- Knowledge of Technical drawing interpretation, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Demonstrated hands-on mechanical aptitude with the ability to work across disciplines and an innovative mindset that drives continuous improvement and keeps pace with advances in technology
- Ability to work in a team environment with solid organizational skills and the ability multi-task
- Proven written and oral communication skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PPT, Project, Word)

This position is located at the Raytheon Diné Facility in Farmington, NM. RTX
- Diné Facility adheres to the Navajo Nation Preference in Employment Act in areas of recruitment and hiring practices.
The salary range for this role is 57,200 USD - 108,800 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.
