Flight Engineer - Part Time Intermittent Professional Exempt - Engineering

Part-Time Intermittent position to fly, fabricate and repair various Class 1 fixed wing electric & gas UAV’s. Position will require candidate to fly at night and land in short desert runways. Candidate must be familiar with using and programming Mission Planner and have familiarity with UAV preparation, balancing, flight checks and C2 checks. Candidates must be proficient in programming the Pix Hawk Autopilot and PC software security.

Strong background piloting all types of UAVs (fixed and rotary wing). Candidates must be able to pass an NCIC (National Criminal Information Check) to gain access to White Sands Missile Range.

• Familiarity with electro-mechanical systems.
• Familiarity with command and control systems such as:
  Futaba, Taranis, Flysky, Spektrum and DJI products.
• Familiarity with video transmitters/receivers for FPV.
• A strong desire to work in challenging environments both indoors and outdoors.
