Construction Manager
Position Overview:
The Construction Manager is responsible for onsite performance of construction and maintenance work in accordance with contract requirements and ensuring cognizance of cost estimates for realization of maximum profit. This individual is also responsible for pursuing and booking traditional utility and industrial project work, as well as large service and maintenance work within their assigned district.
Responsibilities include understanding and communicating contract terms & conditions, monitoring project change management issues, identifying and targeting future bid opportunities, managing project P&L within their assigned district, overseeing, reviewing, and approving project execution, frequently staffing project job sites, overseeing large service/outage project performance, addressing, advising on, and assisting with critical issues relative to projects within area of responsibility, communicating significant project issues to management, ensuring compliance of project and personnel in accordance with Company policies and ethics programs, developing and managing talent within area of responsibility, challenging project team(s) to be customer and performance driven, and representing opposite organized labor on a variety of issues and collective bargaining committees.

Requirements: 8+ years of relevant construction and project experience required, 5+ years of management experience required, strong verbal and written communication skills & leadership abilities, ability to influence at all levels, strong attention to detail and organization, must be onsite at the site location and willingness to travel, big picture / multi-site experience interacting with customers, vendors and/or unions, hands on experience with industrial boilers.

This is a permanent position based out of Farmington, NM.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $150000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to specific elections, plan, or program terms.
