- Support all manufacturing related activities within a production or depot‑manufacturing environment.
- Report to a Value Stream Lead/Manager (VSL/VSM) and provide daily support and direction of up to 15+ employees during one shift.
- Assist the VSL/VSM in meeting operational schedules, priorities, and goals, collaborating with functional support to ensure continuous line‑flow or end‑item production.
- Ensure quality of production and depot products is delivered on time at or below cost targets.
- Lead tier‑1 meetings and work‑cell stand‑up meetings, following the appropriate templates.
- Collaborate with supply chain personnel to maintain work orders and address shortages throughout the workday.
- Coordinate daily work assignments and communicate daily work requirements with the VSL/VSM.
- Ensure employees follow all safety protocols, provide required PPE, and report safety concerns or issues.
- Update SPQDC (safety, people, quality, delivery, cost) data on the tier‑1 board before each tier‑1 meeting.
- Follow planning, processes, and policy requirements, reporting any anomalies to the VSL/VSM.
- Communicate professionally via email, Teams chat, or site radio.
- Work and communicate effectively with all functional support teams (leadership, training, supply chain, engineering).
- Support the production environment in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven setting, willing to work extended hours when required.
- Maintain a safe working environment and adhere to all safety rules and guidelines.
- High School diploma (or equivalent) with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant manufacturing or assembly experience.
- U.S. citizenship required.
- Valid State Driver’s License (preferred).
- Analytical, interactive, and computer literacy skills.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel, Windows, and database/test software.
- Ability to understand and follow written instructions.
- Ability to function effectively in a fast‑paced work environment.
- Customer‑focused, well organized, and capable of multitasking and working independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team environment to accomplish common goals.
- Physical stamina to stand or sit for long periods, walk, bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of and commitment to safety regulations and best practices.
