Position Overview

TNAA Total Med RN is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Farmington, New Mexico.

Total Med Travel Job . Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

• Conduct patient assessments and prioritize data collection based on patients’ immediate conditions or needs.
• Perform ongoing assessments and appropriate treatments as ordered by a physician.
• Document patient findings and provide education and support to patients' families.
• Provide bedside care for a variety of patients, including pre‑ and post‑op patients.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication, reporting any adverse reactions to treatment.
• Change dressings, insert catheters and start IVs.
• Prepare equipment and aid physician during examination and treatment of patients.
• Educate patients on surgical procedures.
• Participate in discharge planning and initiate patient education plan as prescribed by a physician.
• Stand and walk for long periods, lift 20 pounds, and handle patients that may require lifting up to 50 pounds; work in a fast‑paced environment with patients that may be confused, agitated, or uncooperative.

• 1–2 years recent acute care experience.
• BLS, 1 Year.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
