Position: Stepdown RN - Farmington, New Mexico
This opportunity is for a Registered Nurse (RN) with experience in stepdown care, providing critical support to patients transitioning from intensive care to regular medical/surgical units. Responsibilities:

• Monitor and assess patient conditions in a stepdown unit, providing timely interventions
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to established protocols
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and update care plans
• Educate patients and families on recovery processes, medication, and lifestyle changes
• Ensure accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and condition
• Maintain a safe, compassionate environment for patients and families

Qualifications:

• Active RN license with preferred experience in stepdown or progressive care units
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to manage multiple patients and prioritize care effectively
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Current BLS and ACLS certification
