Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position available in the region at a Level 2 specialty unit of a community hospital. The role involves labor, postoperative, and nursery care for a diverse patient population. This assignment is scheduled for night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week, starting on 07/13/2026 for 13 weeks.

- Valid RN license and BLS, NRP, and ACLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- At least 2 years of experience with cervical exams, infant delivery, postpartum care, and nursery care in a Level 2 or higher unit.
- ADN or BSN degree.
- Experience practicing in a community hospital setting with a regional mission.
- Preferred: fetal monitoring experience, stabilization of neonates, troubleshooting high‑acuity situations, and strong triage assessment skills.
The unit has 17 beds, two triage rooms, and follows AWHONN patient‑ratio standards (~75 deliveries per month). Equipment includes fetal monitors, ISTAT, and Freestyle. The Electronic Health Record system used is Cerner and Fetalink.
