RN Cardiology and Intermediate Care

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiology and Intermediate Care. The position requires nursing skills in a unit caring for adult to geriatric patients. The facility features a 24-bed unit with a patient ratio of 1 RN to 4-5 patients during night shifts for IMC patients. Day shift ratios include 1 RN to 3 patients for active titrating drips.

Common diagnoses include STEMI, Non-STEMI, stroke, post-cath, and ETOH. Normal floating to other units as needed is expected. Equipment includes standard cardiology monitoring equipment, IV pumps, and crash carts. The electronic health record system used is Cerner. Candidates must possess an Associate Degree in Nursing or higher. This opportunity allows you to contribute to high-quality patient care in a dynamic environment.
