American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Emergency Department position at a Level III trauma center, requiring 2+ years of ED experience and multiple advanced certifications.

• Work in a 48-bed Level III trauma center Emergency Department with flex space
• Team nursing and pod system with a dedicated social worker and unit educator
• Patient ratios of 4:1 in Main ED and 6:1 in Fast Track
• Patient population includes ESRD, cirrhosis, COPD, and psychiatric cases
• Uses Zoll Defibrillator, Level One Blood Transfuser, Qin Flow Blood Warmer, Hospira Plum
  360, Freestyle and iStat POC, and Ultrasound Guided IV equipment
• Cerner EHR system used
• Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Minimum of two weekends per schedule required
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements

• Active RN license (NM or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC (must be from AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• 2 years of Emergency Department experience preferred
• RN ADN required
• Experience with trauma, stroke, STEMI, sepsis, and moderate sedation required
• Experience treating ESRD, substance abuse disorders, psychological disorders, COPD, CHF, abdominal pain, and chest pain

• Facility is a 198-bed Level III trauma center that receives Level I, II, and III trauma cases via air transport
• Provides medical, surgical, and rehabilitation services to the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah
• Facility has received accreditation for PCI, mammography, and laboratory services
• Recognized as a Top 20 Most Beautiful Hospital in the U.S. and recipient of the Reputation 800 Award in Healthcare
