American Traveler is hiring an experienced PACU RN for a Level III trauma center, requiring 3+ years of recovery experience and NM or compact RN licensure.

• Phase I Recovery unit within a Level III trauma center performing Level I and II procedures except open hearts
• Recovers patients from General Surgery, Ortho, Neuro, Ob/Gyn, Urology, ENT, and Robotics cases
• 7-bed unit with adult mid to high acuity patient population
• Patient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2
• Uses Mindray equipment and Cerner EHR
• Day shift schedule from 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM
• On-call requirements for weekends and evenings
• Possible floating to Pre Op and/or Endo units

• Active RN license (NM or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 3 years of PACU/recovery experience required
• RN degree required
• Trauma level recovery experience required
• Pediatric dental recovery experience preferred

• Provide Phase I recovery care to adult surgical patients across multiple specialties
• Facility is a 198-bed Level III trauma center serving the Four Corners region of New Mexico, Arizona, Colorado, and Utah
