• Record inspection results.
• Report inspection or audit results verbally and in written format.
• Determine and communicate results to affected individuals.
• Prepare reports and summaries.
• Draw attention to important items and actual or potential problems and assist in developing solutions.
• Check for work correctness and ensure proper records are maintained.
• Read and comprehend parts lists, manufacturing drawings, workmanship standards, wiring diagrams or schematics, engineering change notices, manufacturer specifications, and contractual requirements.
• Use inspection instruments (experience preferred).
• Maintain good organizational skills with respect to documentation and departmental functions.
• Understand manufacturing processes and audit them.
• Have exposure to TQM, ISO, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma (preferred).
• Understand concepts of variation and continuous improvement.
• Perform job duties in accordance with operating procedures and environmental/safety regulations.
• Good writing, penmanship, verbal communication, and computer skills. Position may require standing or sitting for long periods, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 30 lbs.

• High school diploma (or equivalent, such as a G.E.D.) or vocational/technical education in the related discipline with at least one year of relevant experience.
• Experience with manufacturing or assembly.
• U.S. citizenship required.

• Valid state driver’s license.
• Analytical, interactive, and computer literacy skills.
• Compliance with all safety rules and guidelines.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Windows (95 or newer), and database or test software.
• Ability to follow written instructions.
• Ability to function effectively in a fast‑paced work environment.
• Customer‑focused, well organized, capable of multitasking, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and provide status updates.
• Position may require standing or sitting for long periods, walking, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
