Position

Summary

We're seeking a portfolio-minded, analytically strong, and execution-oriented Manager to join the Portfolio Intelligence & Performance team within Business Operations. This role will lead deep-dive analytics across priority growth levers, translate findings into a cohesive value story, and support leadership decision-making across growth portfolio oversight and value realization. The role will also help advance the Portfolio Intelligence Storyboard as a centralized decision-support capability for executive reporting and portfolio management.

The ideal candidate brings strong analytical judgment, structured problem-solving skills, a growth mindset, and product ownership mentality. They are comfortable navigating ambiguity and translating portfolio progress, investment, and value realization into clear, decision-ready insights for leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct deep-dive analysis on script and margin growth-driving programs to identify value drivers, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
  • Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analytical approaches and use exploratory analysis to surface actionable insights that inform growth and strategic decisions.
  • Apply AI-enabled and advanced analytics tools to improve analytical efficiency, consistency, and insight generation.
  • Partner across Business Operations and cross-functional teams to build, enhance, and scale the Portfolio Intelligence Storyboard, including KPI definitions and reporting standards that enable consistent, trusted executive reporting.
  • Manage the analytics team budget and track portfolio analytics investments against plan, connecting resource allocation to business value, risks, and leadership decisions.
Required Qualifications
  • 5 + years of experience in data science, advanced analytics, strategy analytics, or a related field, with demonstrated ability to structure ambiguous business questions and translate quantitative insights into decision-support materials.
  • Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, or another programming language, with experience working with large relational datasets in platforms such as Azure Databricks, Snowflake, Google Cloud, or similar environments.
  • Strong foundation in statistics, quantitative methods, experimentation, causal measurement, and performance evaluation to assess business impact and value realization.
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into concise narratives, executive materials, and actionable recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with business and analytics partners to align on priorities, clarify requirements, and drive execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to operate in evolving problem spaces, proactively explore unknowns, and convert loosely defined business needs into structured analytical plans and actionable recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), along with an understanding of how backend data structures and pipelines support executive-facing dashboards.
  • Proven project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate cross-functional inputs, and deliver high-quality outputs with attention to detail and timeliness.
  • Experience supporting portfolio performance management, capital planning, ROI assessment, or value measurement frameworks is strongly preferred.
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative, analytical, business, or related field such as Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, Engineering, Operations Research, or a comparable discipline.
  • Master's degree, MBA, or advanced degree in a quantitative field preferred.
