Service Technicians--Hvac

Immediate Opening

Immediate opening for a well-respected, well-established Queens based company looking for a field HVAC Service Technician. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience.

Responsibilities may include:

• Installs, troubleshooting, diagnosing repairing commercial & residential HVAC systems, controls, chilled water systems, boilers, variable volume air systems, off site at customer locations.

Qualifications:

• AC experience
• EPA certification
• Strong electrical and mechanical skills
• Very strong customer communication skills and ability to follow all customer work rules
• Computer and internet skills
• Valid Driver License with good record

Job responsibilities:

• PM, install, troubleshoot, diagnose and repair HVAC systems
• Complete work in a professional manner, on-time and neat
• Effectively communicate with customers, manager and dispatcher
• Maintain service vehicle
• Place orders for parts as needed; complete necessary paperwork
• Other duties as designated by management
• Summer OT is highly required and you may be asked to be on stand-by over the weekend
