Quality Control Technician

Job Summary

The Quality Control Technician is responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards by inspecting, testing, and reporting on raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods. The technician works closely with production and engineering teams to identify defects, implement corrective actions, and maintain compliance with internal and external specifications.

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products.
• Use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate records according to company procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and report any deviations or non-conformances to appropriate personnel.
• Assist in root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA).
• Conduct sample testing according to established quality control plans.
• Assist in annual VCAP audit sampling for LFT certifications.
• Execute influence factor VCAP testing for each of the LFT certified products.
• Ensure compliance with Company standards and other applicable quality systems.
• Calibrate inspection and testing equipment as required.
• Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Other duties and tasks assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Associate’s degree or technical certification preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in a quality control or inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of quality systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Familiarity with measurement tools and mechanical drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, ERP systems).
• Good written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to stand for long periods.

Lift up to 50 lbs as needed.

Manual dexterity and visual acuity for inspection tasks.
