Part Time Floor Leader
As a Floor Leader, you'll play a vital role in supporting the Store Management Team across all areas of the business. This includes driving sales, opening and closing the store, analyzing sales results, and leading training sessions. You will keep the store operating with excellence and create an exceptional customer experience and a motivated staff.
Responsibilities- Driving Sales: Use the Store Force dashboard to coach and feedback your sales team and adjust shop floor structure to exceed sales goals, take ownership of your results, and celebrate achievements.
- Customer
Experience:
Deliver a world‑class experience on the shop floor, host product demonstrations, observe and listen to consultations, and collaborate with your team to surpass daily sales goals. - Building the Brand: Educate customers on Lush brand values, including fighting animal testing, the freshest cosmetics, ethical buying, 100% vegetarian, handmade, and naked packaging. Engage the community through store parties and other initiatives.
- Product Passion: Continuously deepen product knowledge and provide informed recommendations.
- Team Involvement & Development: Train and coach Sales Ambassadors and peers on sales techniques and product knowledge; assess performance, seek feedback, and pursue development opportunities.
- Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB): Encourage open communication, actively listen to perspectives, and foster a sense of belonging through teamwork and recognition.
- Operational Excellence: Manage cash handling, opening/closing registers, reconciling drawers, nightly deposits, and store security; maintain attendance; monitor breaks and communicate store updates.
- Visuals & Merchandising: Keep the store clean, organized, and visually appealing; adjust displays in real time using Visual Merchandising guidelines.
- Stock & Inventory: Train the team on inventory best practices; support management with inventory tasks; use sales data to improve displays.
- Policies & Procedures: Ensure compliance with company standards for opening/closing, product integrity, respectful workplace, and health & safety.
- Required:
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales.
- Cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
- Supervisory experience with coaching, feedback, and training.
- Problem‑solving in a fast‑paced team environment.
- Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
- Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Preferred:
- Experience with consultation‑based customer service models.
- Experience analyzing sales metrics.
- Experience in skincare or cosmetics.
- Experience in cross‑cultural collaboration and DEIB or social justice training.
- Fluency in Spanish, French, or another language.
Station Park Pay: $16.50 per hour.
