Assistant Store Manager

IT’SUGAR is looking for a fun and dynamic Retail Assistant Store Manager to join our team. The Assistant Store Manager will oversee the retail store operations to ensure sales goals and operational objectives are met.

• Act as Manager on Duty – Oversee daily operation, ensure sales objectives, evaluate operations, hold staff accountable, coach, brand representation, customer engagement, safety, partnership with Store Manager.
• Recruit Great Talent – Proactively network/recruit, assist Store Manager selection, training, policies adherence.
• Achieve Sales Goals – Customer requests, selling skills, collaborative selling culture.
• Support Store Operations – Cash handling, inventory, merchandising, capture customer information, special events, loss prevention policies, maintenance.
• Embody Core Values – Positive, Playful, Present, Difference Maker, enthusiasm, team collaboration.

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years retail experience preferred; prior sales and management experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Proficient with POS/cash register.
• Physical ability: stand/walk long periods, handle items, lift up to 25 lbs independently, up to 50 lbs with assistance.
• Independent work capability with minimal supervision.
