Key Responsibilities- Conduct physical examinations, compile medical histories, and develop treatment plans for new and established patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies to ensure accurate and timely care.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and recovery paths.
- Provide pre‑operative and post‑operative care in coordination with supervising physicians.
- Participate in surgical procedures and deliver intraoperative care in the OR as needed.
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records in compliance with practice guidelines.
- Collaborate with physicians and the broader care team to deliver outstanding patient outcomes.
- Perform procedures and assessments with precision and professionalism, ensuring continuity of care.
- Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
- Board‑certified Virginia State License.
- BLS certification and commitment to maintaining CEUs in clinical practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic or related fields (highly desired). New graduates with a passion for orthopedics are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication, customer service, and decision‑making skills.
- Ability to work independently, respond effectively in emergency situations, and maintain professionalism at all times.
- Must communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs without assistance.
