The Virginia Department of Transportation in Farmville seeks an Automotive Equipment Mechanic to diagnose, repair, inspect, and maintain motorized and mechanical equipment. Responsibilities include performing repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment and ensuring compliance with state inspection guidelines.
The ideal candidate will possess skills in repair and maintenance, hold a valid CDL within 11 months, and safely operate heavy-duty trucks. A combination of relevant training and ASE certifications is desirable.
