Caretaker & Electrical Installation Technician

We are seeking a proactive and reliable Caretaker & Electrical Installation Technician to join our Aldershot Construction College. This varied role combines site caretaking, maintenance, security and facilities support with technical support for our Electrical Installation provision.

You will help ensure that college buildings, workshops and learning environments are safe, secure and well maintained, whilst providing practical support to lecturers and students during electrical installation training sessions. The role is integral to maintaining industry-standard facilities and creating an excellent learning experience for our students.

Applicants will hold a Level 3 NVQ Electrical Installation qualification plus have industry experience. Experience with in the electrical installation industry, alongside maintenance and repair work, is essential.

You will be responsible for preparing workshops and equipment, supporting practical lessons, maintaining tools and resources, carrying out minor maintenance works, assisting with site security and responding to facilities needs across the College.
