Job Summary

Faith Promise is looking for a full‑time Student Director who is passionate about joining a team that is going to Win the World. This role will report to the Farragut Campus Pastor and will be responsible for leading and growing the Student Ministry. It requires an individual to possess and develop exceptional leadership, team‑building, teaching, and management skills.

Job Details
  • Lead the Student Ministry at the Farragut Campus:
    • Equip, lead, and mentor the Student team, including leading volunteers, growing student ministry, and teaching during Wednesday services.
    • Commit to and maintain a personal spiritual growth plan.
  • Serve as the Student Director:
    • Ongoing teaching at Farragut student services.
    • Coordinate Winning Team members and ensure all tasks associated with weekly student services and events are accomplished.
    • Maintain an ongoing and strategic community presence through Winning Teams in local chapel services, sporting events, schools, FCA, etc.
    • Coordinate and oversee student events, such as special events, leadership retreats, and movement.
    • Grow student ministry attendance and small groups.
    • Serve in weekend services.
  • Build and maintain a Winning Team members system:
    • Spiritual integrity of small groups, tracking growth and birthing when necessary.
    • Manage processes for new group leaders and ensure accountability through coaching.
    • Maintain, train and grow student ministry coaches.
    • Maintain and grow key volunteers for weekly services and events.
  • Assist with fpKIDS as needed, both during the week and during weekend services.
  • Perform any duties as required by the Farragut Campus Pastor or Senior Executive Pastors.
Benefits and Compensation

This is a full‑time, non‑exempt role with an expected schedule of 40 hours per week. Benefit offerings include Medical Insurance, Health Savings Account, 403b Retirement, Life Insurance, Short‑Term and Long‑Term Disability, Dental, Vision, Accident, and Critical Illness coverage. Employees also accrue paid Vacation and PTO time. Compensation is determined based on education and experience.

Basic Qualifications
  • 3‑5 years of experience leading a group or team (ministry or non‑ministry).
  • High level of discernment and emotional intelligence.
  • Flexible and adaptable.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous experience leading a large student ministry with a multi‑layered volunteer structure.
  • Experience with non‑profit organizations.
  • Experience in working with a growing or decentralized organization.
