Lead Teacher

Overview

Trinity Learning Center is looking for a 3‑Year‑Old Lead Teacher for the 2026‑2027 School Year. The teacher will work 2, 3, or 5 days a week from 8:30–2:30, responsible for up to eight children. The school follows all DHS policies and the Knox County School calendar.

Staff sign contracts for each school year with the flexibility to change positions thereafter. The work day is 8:30–2:30, with students in class from 9–2. Extended care may be available from 8–9 a.m. and 2–3:15 p.m.

• Teach Christian values and academic and social‑emotional learning in a play‑based setting.
• Create lesson plans and a rich learning environment.
• Manage the classroom and assess student progress.
• Communicate with parents and involve them in their child’s learning.
• Complete continuing education training hours.

• Experience with children.
• Patience, kindness, and a love for children.
• Positive, team‑oriented attitude.
• Ability to lift 40 lb. and move quickly when needed.
• Good communication skills.
• Education in Early Childhood Development or a related degree preferred; childcare experience will also be considered.
