Cleaner​/Chipper

Duties

• Using jib crane, overhead crane, slings or manual lifting, grinder, buffer, chipping hammer, scraper, and dye grinder to move components into proper position at machine.
• Perform maintenance activities as required for specific machines.
• Work all assigned days and overtime as required.
• Wear all required PPE.
• Manually remove all excess weld splatter that the blaster does not get off.
• Grind any knots.
• Install boards on dump body.
• Assist paint department in prepping and sanding dump bodies.
• Perform 6S daily.
• Willing to cross train in painting.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Educational:
  High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience:
  
  No relevant experience required; training will be provided.
• Other:
  Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; climb onto chassis; stand for 10 hours; work weekends and overtime.
