Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Fayetteville, Arkansas. This is a Contract to permanent position ideal for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and efficient processing of invoices and payments within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

- Process and validate a large volume of invoices with precision and efficiency.

- Reconcile vendor statements and address discrepancies promptly.

- Monitor accounts to guarantee timely payments and resolve overdue items.

- Maintain and update vendor records, including payment terms and account details.

- Support month-end closing activities and generate relevant reports.

- Communicate effectively with vendors and internal teams to resolve payment-related issues.

- Assist with additional accounting tasks as needed to meet workload demands.

- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures during all financial operations.

- Adapt to shifting priorities and deadlines while maintaining speed and accuracy. Requirements - At least 1 year of experience in accounts payable or high-volume administrative roles.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

- Strong numerical data entry skills, including 10-key typing.

- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

- Strong communication skills to interact professionally with vendors and internal teams.

- Dependable with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Comfortable working under pressure and maintaining accuracy during peak periods.
