Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our growing team. The Accounting Clerk will support the accounting department by processing invoices, maintaining financial records, reconciling accounts, and assisting with month-end activities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and has strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
+ Enter and maintain accurate financial data in accounting systems
+ Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
+ Review invoices for accuracy and proper coding
+ Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
+ Prepare and distribute customer invoices
+ Research and resolve billing discrepancies
+ Maintain organized financial records and documentation
+ Support audits and special accounting projects as needed
+ Provide administrative support to the accounting team
Qualifications
+ High school diploma or equivalent required;
Associate's degree in Accounting preferred
+ 1+ years of accounting, bookkeeping, AP, AR, or related experience
+ Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and accounting software
+ Strong attention to detail and accuracy
+ Excellent organizational and communication skills
+ Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
