Accounting Assistant II

The Accounting Assistant II is responsible for supporting Specialist/Supervisor/Manager roles as needed in relation to Vendors/Accounts Payable information – including but not limited to status of invoices, documentation requests and organization of files. They may respond to inquiries and help facilitate the timely processing of transactions and support projects and process improvement as requested. Other duties as assigned. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • The formal education equivalent of a High School Diploma
  • At least two (2) years of bookkeeping, basic accounting, billing or an office-related support field

Preferred Qualifications:

  • At least three (3) years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, billing, etc.
  • Associated Degree in Business or related field
  • Experience with Workday

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Advanced Organizational skills and experience with office support
  • Knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office software application programs
  • Knowledge of customer service techniques
  • Ability to record fiscal data and manipulate data to generate reports and documents
  • Ability to conduct basic system research and perform basic quantitative quality assurance reviews

Salary Information: $39,930 - $43,923;
Commensurate with education and experience
