Administrative Assistant

Vantage Point Behavioral Health Hospital is currently seeking a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support the CEO.

Pay Range: $18.00 – $21.00 per hour

Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have administrative experience in the medical field, with a strong emphasis on credentialing processes. This role requires excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Focus: A significant portion of this role will involve credentialing responsibilities, including maintaining provider records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and coordinating documentation.

Purpose Statement: Provide administrative support to facility leadership to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the hospital.

Essential Functions:

  • Support managers and employees through a variety of tasks related to organization and communication.
  • Responsible for confidential and time sensitive material.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures.
  • Effectively communicate via phone and email ensuring that all duties are completed accurately, delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
  • Attend meetings and take accurate minutes.

Other Functions:

  • May be responsible for accurate and timely physician credentialing.
  • May direct and lead the work of others.
  • May manage and coordinate administrative programs and office activities.
  • Create spreadsheets, manage databases and prepare presentations, reports and documents as needed.
  • Answer telephones and take messages or transfer calls.
  • May cover the reception desk when required.
  • Calendar management, schedule appointments, update calendars and arrange staff meetings.

Education/Experience/Skill Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Associate’s degree preferred.
