Summary ofJob Duties
The Administrative Support Specialist III is responsible for the areas of department procurement services, Workday transactions involving purchasing, accounts payable, travel services and assisting with the hiring of part time staff. This position will provide general office support for the Walton Conference Hub, Walton Facilities, and the Department of Analytics and Insights. They will advise and lead on issues related to legal compliance and business transactions, provide direct customer support to help develop and maintain professional relationships with vendors and clients.
This position will also work closely with event planners to assist in event services and facilitation, and also manage 25
Live requests. Maintain the electronic door access system (On Guard). Oversee HVAC requests for after hour events.
This is an in-person position that requires office hours 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday. Also, may require occasional early morning or late evening hours to oversee events.
Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
QualificationsMinimum Qualifications
- Formal education equivalent of a high school diploma
- At least one year of experience in a specialized or related area applicable to work performed
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution of higher education
- Experience with UA software systems, such as Workday and 25
Live - Experience with UA accounting procedures
- Knowledge of record keeping procedures
- Knowledge of event planning and procedures
- Knowledge of computers and software applications
- Ability to conduct research and compile data into report form Ability to establish and maintain filing systems =
- Ability to analyze documents to determine compliance with rules, regulations, and procedures
- Ability to communicate both orally and in writing
$39,930 - $43,923 (Commensurate with education and experience)
