Summary ofJob Duties:
The Intern for the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations (CFR) in University Advancement will provide support to the CFR team to secure philanthropic support for university initiatives and to build and strengthen partnerships with corporations and foundations. This is a 10-15 hour per week position. Regular, reliable and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others.
- Provide customer service in response to internal and external phone, email and website inquiries
- Schedule meetings with UA faculty and staff and external stakeholders as needed
- Attend meetings and prepare detailed meeting summaries for the CFR team
- Maintain and update campus contact lists and departmental resource documents for use by the CFR team
- Assist with coordination of campus visit logistics (make reservations, schedule meeting rooms, ordering catering, preparing visitor materials, secure parking passes, etc.) and University athletic suite logistics (football, basketball, and baseball) for hosting corporate and foundation partners and other university guests
- Create and maintain online forms and other web content for the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations website, including corporate and foundation funding opportunities for dissemination to UA faculty and program staff
- Develop PowerPoint presentations and other presentation materials for departmental meetings, donor presentations, campus partners, and special projects
- Update project management tools for proposal submissions, award management and grant reporting
- Prepare written prospect reports, profiles, and briefing materials to be used by UA development officers, administrative leadership, faculty and staff
- Compile and update reports for the CFR team to track progress towards annual fundraising and industry engagement goals
- Compile and distribute documentation for proposal submissions, award letters and other correspondence to UA faculty and program staff
