What You'll DoAs an Automotive Service Technician, you'll diagnose, repair, and maintain customer vehicles while delivering exceptional workmanship and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities Diagnose engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, steering, brake, HVAC, and drivability concerns
Perform manufacturer-recommended maintenance services
Repair engines, transmissions, suspension, steering, brakes, HVAC, and electrical systems
Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend needed repairs
Test drive vehicles to verify repairs
Use factory diagnostic equipment and scan tools
Complete repair orders accurately
Work closely with service advisors and the parts department
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Follow manufacturer repair procedures and warranty guidelines
Continue developing your skills through factory and dealership training
Qualifications
Previous automotive technician experience preferred (2+ years is a plus but not required)
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Knowledge of automotive repair procedures and vehicle systems
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent attention to detail
Strong work ethic and positive attitude
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Preferred Qualifications ASE Certifications Automotive Technical School Graduate Ford Certification Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep/Ram Certification Experience repairing Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, and Ram vehicles
Experience using factory diagnostic equipment
