Key Job Responsibilities
- Take ownership of and enhance one of the team’s core work streams, such as contract management, data analysis, finance, transportation, or queries.
- Address transportation-related issues at sites and ensure consistent trailer availability to support seamless logistics.
- Act as the main liaison between operational sites and vendors to foster strong communication and resolve challenges collaboratively.
- Lead efforts to automate processes and create standardized practices that increase operational efficiency.
- Plan, manage, and evaluate trial shipment programs to test and implement new logistics partners and solutions.
- Handle Purchase Order (PO) and invoice processing and tracking.
- Conduct on-site and GPS-based audits to ensure vendors comply with contractual agreements.
- Manage internal and external case documentation and follow-up.
- Track and report revenue-related metrics while monitoring trends in commodity pricing.
- Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions.
- Keep project tracking systems like Asana up to date and ensure project timelines and stakeholder communications are well managed.
- Use SQL via Hubble to generate data reports related to shipping methods, returns, or custom inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Tech, Product, Finance, Legal, Product Safety, ACES, and Operations teams.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in program or product management.
- Strong analytical capabilities and proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and aggregate functions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey clear and cohesive messages.
- Highly organized, capable of juggling project updates, invoice and payment tracking, transport execution, and compliance audits.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 65% to Amazon and vendor locations.
- Advanced Excel skills, including use of Macros and VBA.
- Experience with MS Access and SQL for data handling.
- Familiarity with data visualization platforms like Quick Sight or Tableau.
- Background in mixed material recycling or nonprofit logistics support.
