About the RoleKitestring is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Contract
Project Coordinator / Junior Project Manager to support active client initiatives. This role is ideal for someone early in their project management career who is organized, motivated, and eager to grow.
You will work closely with senior project leaders to ensure client projects stay on track by managing status updates, tracking action items, and maintaining clear communication across stakeholders. This is not a highly strategic or senior role — we’re looking for a reliable go-getter who can follow direction, take ownership of coordination tasks, and keep projects moving forward.
Key Responsibilities- Support ongoing client projects by tracking timelines, deliverables, and milestones
- Maintain and update project plans and task trackers
- Collect status updates from team members and stakeholders
- Prepare and distribute clear, concise status reports
- Document meeting notes, action items, and risks
- Help identify and elevate potential project risks or blockers
- Ensure documentation is organized and up to date
- Support communication between internal teams and client stakeholders
- 1–3 years of experience in project coordination, project management, business operations, or similar role
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written communication skills (especially for status reporting)
- Ability to follow direction and execute independently
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced client-facing environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and/or project management tools (Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, Monday, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
- A self-starter who takes initiative
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Strong sense of accountability
- Coachable and open to feedback
- Comfortable asking questions and clarifying expectations
- Professional presence when interacting with clients
