- • Serve as ARE-ON's primary relationship-builder with information technology departments, research offices, and applied users across the member community
- • Identify how members' institutional strategy and technology goals should inform ARE-ON's investment in services and capabilities
- • Surface shared investment and partnership opportunities across the membership
- • Facilitate member education on ARE-ON's services and benefits
- • Lead onboarding for new member institutions
- • Own ARE-ON's total engagement strategy, including in-person conferences, meetings, online seminars, and working groups
- • Establish and maintain the overall member engagement program and associated metrics
- • Track applied engagement work carried out across technical and support teams in response to member needs
- • Build professional relationships with senior leadership and decision-makers across multiple organizations
- • Travel in-state to ARE-ON member campuses for in-person relationship building and initiative development, estimated at 25% to 50% of working time
- • Report to the Executive Director
- • Work as an individual contributor with no direct reports
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution of higher education, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- At least four years of experience building and managing professional relationships with senior leadership or decision-makers across multiple organizations, departments, or business units
- Demonstrated experience operating in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment, coordinating across functions or organizational boundaries
- Successful candidate must reside within the state of Arkansas
- Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance
- Ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships
- Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
- Criminal background check required
- Motor Vehicle Reports check required
- Sex Offender Registry check required
Demonstrates expertise in relationship management and member engagement strategies, with a focus on building partnerships and facilitating education on services. Proven ability to operate in complex, multi-stakeholder environments while maintaining strong professional relationships with senior leadership.
