Metric Geo is partnered with a reputable civil contractor in Northwest Arkansas to recruit a Project Manager. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage heavy civil projects including earthwork, site development, underground utilities, grading, storm drainage, and paving.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, forecasts, and cost reports.
  • Coordinate field operations with Superintendents, Foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Review drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
  • Track project costs, manage billings, and maximize project profitability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, engineers, and project stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental, and project safety requirements.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to leadership and clients.
  • Mentor Project Engineers and support the development of junior team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in heavy civil construction.
  • Experience managing site development, earthwork, utility, or civil infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of project scheduling, budgeting, contracts, and cost control.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, HCSS, Primavera P6, or similar construction software.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working on commercial, industrial, municipal, or private development projects throughout Northwest Arkansas is preferred.
