Our client is growing and is looking for a dedicated Construction Materials Technician to help with numerous large construction projects in the surrounding Springdale area.
Position OverviewAs a Construction Materials Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting construction work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, codes, and regulations. You will work closely with contractors, engineers, and project managers to maintain high standards of workmanship and safety throughout the construction process.
Key Responsibilities- Run concrete and soil tests to ensure strength and stability (Slump tests, aggregate test, etc.)
- Inspect construction projects at various stages for quality, safety, and compliance with regulations
- Document findings, maintain detailed inspection reports, and update project files
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and industry best practices
- Collaborate with engineers, clients, and fellow team members
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A year of experience in construction (concrete is preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Certification as a Construction Inspector (ACI, ICC, or similar)
- ACI (American Concrete Institute) certifications aggregate or concrete
