Civil Estimator – Water, Sewer & Earthwork

We are seeking an experienced Civil Estimator with 2+ years of heavy civil estimating experience, specializing in water, sewer, storm drainage, earthwork, grading, and site development projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for civil construction projects.
• Perform quantity takeoffs from plans and specifications.
• Estimate water, sanitary sewer, storm drainage, grading, and underground utility work.
• Obtain and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.
• Review plans, specifications, and contract documents.
• Identify project risks, value-engineering opportunities, and cost-saving alternatives.
• Coordinate with project management and operations for smooth project handoff.
• Attend pre-bid meetings and support bid submissions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of estimating experience in heavy civil construction.
• Strong knowledge of water, sewer, storm drainage, earthwork, and underground utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret civil plans and specifications.
• Experience with AGTEK preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple bids.
