Concrete Superintendent

Metric Geo is partnering with a well-established site development contractor in Northwest Arkansas to identify an experienced Concrete Superintendent to join their growing team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Superintendent with a strong background in concrete construction, site development, foundations, flatwork, structures, or commercial civil construction who wants to take ownership of field operations and work on projects throughout the rapidly growing Northwest Arkansas market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead day-to-day concrete and sitework operations in the field
  • Supervise Foremen, crews, subcontractors, and field personnel
  • Plan manpower, equipment, materials, and project sequencing
  • Coordinate closely with Project Managers to maintain schedule and budget
  • Interpret plans, specifications, and project requirements
  • Oversee concrete placement, foundations, slabs, curb and gutter, sidewalks, and related sitework
  • Monitor production, quality, safety, and overall project progress
  • Coordinate inspections and work with owners, engineers, and subcontractors
  • Identify and resolve field issues before they impact schedule or cost
  • Conduct toolbox talks and maintain strong safety standards
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation
Ideal Background
  • 5+ years of Superintendent experience in concrete or site development
  • Strong background in commercial concrete, sitework, foundations, or civil construction
  • Experience managing multiple crews and subcontractors
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Strong understanding of concrete construction methods, scheduling, and production
  • Proven leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing construction market
  • OSHA 30 or equivalent safety training preferred
